1.6. What is the metadata website?¶
The metadata website can be accessed under https://metadaten.live-curemannheim.de
The metadata website is used for two main goals:
Organize and document testing days
Organize and plan testing days by creating test sheets and test scenarios
Document testing days by creating test runs which may belong to a test scenario.
Document metadata for the test runs
Metadata may describe additional data to better describe data like
Environmental data: temperature, …
Parameters: suspension setup, power limiation, …
Software versions
At the moment the first main goal is the most interesing for us.
We organize and document every test day with the metadata website.
Thus we will rename every recorded rosbag and drone recording according to the test run number, e.g. run_592.bag.

1.6.1. Summary of metadata website structure¶
For every test day or weekend, there exists a test day. Every test day can contain any number of test sheets. Each test sheet can contain any number of test scenario.
The concept is desribed in detail in the linked tutorial.
Each test run can be associated to a test scenario and thus to a test sheet and test day.
